Michael Guidry founded The Guidry Group in 1985 and has been recognized worldwide as a leader and innovator in the field of security.

Through his work as a physical and infrastructure security expert, he has pioneered numerous, innovative techniques which have saved the lives of clients worldwide, as well as preventing the loss of hundreds of  millions of dollars in assets. Operating in over 125 countries, Michael and the Guidry Group have worked with some of the largest and most prestigious companies, organizations and individuals in the world, while redefining the industry standard for personnel recovery and asset protection.

Here are some career highlights:

  • Taught foreign government representatives at U.S. State Department Symposiums on counter-terrorist measures.
  • Testified before U.S. Senate on cellular fraud investigation.
  • Revolutionized cellular phone fraud investigation; literally writing the book on cellular phone fraud investigation for the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA).
  • Consulted for NBC sports during the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea, the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain and the 1989 Super Bowl in Miami, Florida.
  • Responsible for security at the 1994 World Cup Games in Dallas, Texas.
  • Holds multiple United States Secret Service certificates of appreciation for outstanding service to law enforcement.
  • One of the founding members of the New York Electronic Crimes Task Force.
  • Received a personal Letter of Commendation from President George Bush of the United States.
